Reticle view in Strelok Pro [iOS]

Let's take standard Mildot reticle, on the reticle you have 5 MRADs down and 5 MRADs up. And you can hit targets up to 603 yards (see picture)

But to hit target at 1000 yards you need 12.7 MRADs on reticle.
Tap green circle at upper right corner. Reticle will switch to upper zero mode
Notice small zero point on upper point of reticle. This is new zero. Zero your rifle at 100 yards with this point. See picture attached. Now you can hit a targets up to 840 yards. May be your load can achieve 1000 yards if it has more flat trajectory. One drawback - if your reticle is placed in second focal plane you can not change magnification after zeroing, because you zero will move, if you change magnification.

Another approach to have wider range of holdovers - get help from vertical elevation turret.
With elevation turret you add 30 MOA (step can be 1 MOA, or 1 MRAD). In the program and on rifle scope. It makes your rifle to be zeroed at 810 yards (dial 30 MOA on the scope also) and you can hit the targets up to 1049 yards. And you can change magnification without any restrictions. Return 30 MOA back after shooting and your rifle is zeroed at 100 yards again. That's it.

On the Settings screen you can select option "Turret step is equal to scope click".

By default virtual scope turret of vertical correction has 1 MOA or 1 MRAD step for more quick change elevation.
If you need more precise adjustments you can check the option "turret step equal to scope click" and virtual turret step becomes equal to scope click value you entered on Rifle scope screen. For example, if you entered 0.25 MOA, virtual turret will have step 0.25 MOA etc.

Important! Virtual turret is not for accounting your scope 30 MOA base installed. Where is the difference between physical incline of the scope and incline line of view inside of the scope. First depends from base, second - not. It depends only from scope height above barrel and zero distance. If you entered correct scope height above barrel and zero distance, you already accounted your 30 MOA base.
